Sunset Mountain Hercules is a yearling colt. We expect
Hercules to mature around 36 inches tall. He should be a
powerful driving horse, well suited for Draft, Chariot, and other
demanding driving classes. His dam (Bayin) is a Country
Pleasure driving horse who has produced all of our champion
driving horses (Libby, MoonDust, Beauty). His full sister Libby
drives in Country Pleasure, Draft, Chariot, and Light Harness
classes.
Hercules is extremely intelligent and very well mannered. He
has been handled by a lot of children and led by children in two
noisy, nighttime Christmas parades with no problems.

Hercules’s sire is our impressive stallion Baccarra O Two.
Herucles’s mom is Bayin at the Moon. Bayin is a former
champion Country Pleasure driving horse. She is now producing
all of our champion driving horses. MoonDust, Painted Liberty,
and Beauty are all her foals. MoonDust and Libby have multiple
National driving championships to their name. Beauty has
multiple National top ten placing. Libby is also a champion
Jumper.
Hercules showed no fear as a baby. Notice that he is standing on a
piece of plywood that we use to train our obstacle horses. Most of the
babies avoid standing on the obstacles until we train them.
Hercules has also been led by children in two nighttime, noisy
Christmas parades with no problems. One was the Fort Worth Parade
of Lights with tens of thousands of cheering people lining the 2 mile
parade route.
He is wearing a Christmas tree skirt and reindeer antlers, but that
horse is Hercules.
Hercules is the full brother to Sunset Mountain Painted Liberty.
“Libby” has National championships in Jumper and team driving
events. We believe Hercules has the same potential.
